  8. This program updates After Dark from version 2.0x and above to version 3.0d.

  11. PREPARING YOUR MACINTOSH FOR INSTALLATION
  12.  
  13. A successful installation of After Dark 3.0d requires turning off your virus protectors and other initialization programs.
  14.  
  15. System 7
  16. Restart your Macintosh while holding down the Shift key until the message "Welcome to Macintosh, Extensions Off" appears.
  17.  
  18. System 6
  19. 1.  Turn off your Macintosh.
  20. 2.  Insert your System 6.x Folder diskette into the floppy drive.  (For information on how to create a System Folder diskette, please refer to your Macintosh User's Guide.)
  21. 3.  Restart the machine and allow the Macintosh startup procedure to finish.

  24. UPDATING TO AFTER DARK 3.0d

  26. Insert the After Dark 3.0d installation disk and double-click on the icon titled "Double-click On Me To Install".  Follow the installation instructions.  This program will update your After Dark Preferences file.

  28. System 6.x Users:  Note--  Keep the System 6.x Folder diskette accessible.  You will need to use it frequently during the installation process.

  30. You must now restart your Macintosh for the update to be complete.
